Tan-40 tablet is used for Lowering high blood pressure and helps prevent strokes, kidney problems, and heart attacks. Tan-40 tablets belong to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers. Tan-40 works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily.

The dosage of Telmisartan 40mg tablet is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Use these tablets regularly to get the most benefit from it. Dosing Information of Telmisartan-40 mg Tablet

Usual Adult Dose of Telmisartan 40mg tablet for Hypertension:

The initial dose should be 40 mg orally once a day and,

The maintenance dose should be 40 to 80 mg orally once a day

Comments: Most of the antihypertensive effect is present within 2 weeks and maximum blood pressure reduction at a given dose is generally observed within 4 weeks of starting Telmisartan 40mg tablets.
